You may have stumbled upon my page somehow, even watched my video introduction, and are asking yourself “who is this girl, and how can I trust her?”

So I’ll tell you a little about myself!

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but at age 18 I decided to pursue my dream of acting in Hollywood. I saved up a few hundred dollars working at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, bought a car for $150, and drove with a friend out to California one October day. Well, it took three days.

And there I stayed, doing background work in film and TV for one year, standing in on Buffy the following year after joining SAG, and then I got my first passport. For some reason I wanted to go to Rome. I had learned something about it in my history class and was dying to go see it for myself. So I spent a week in Rome with my boyfriend at the time, and that began the travel bug.

Soon after, I got into another long-term relationship, and we would go off to Cabo San Lucas, Hawaii, a road trip across Europe, New York, Miami…

And when that relationship ended, I found myself going to Paris every summer for three years, until I finally decided to request a residency visa, which I got. At that point in time, I had an online income that was paying my rent, and I thought it was the perfect time to leave town and explore the world.

For several years I would go back and forth between France and Los Angeles. My income wasn’t always stable and I would find myself trying to figure out ways afford more travel. At my brokest point I was even going to Barcelona and Ghana. I wouldn’t give up!

At the moment of writing this, I am in Los Angeles focusing on acting once again (but returning to France!!) and having fun creating photos for my Instagram in my little home studio. But there is adventure on the horizon… 🙂

I never became a real “travel hacker”, figuring out all the points cards and traveling full time (I have pets! I like spending time with them) but I’m constantly looking for new ways to create income online and to save money on everything so that I can afford more experiences. Friends turn to me for advice on this, so I figured I would find a good way to share it online to help out more people, and, to be honest, make use of this knowledge to help support my own travel.

If you’re interested in contacting me about anything, whether it’s travel-related or business-related, you can find me on Instagram @kendal_in_wonderland and send me a message there. I’m open to collaborations!

Thank you for stopping by!
